New Employees for HSK Sähkö Oy
9 December 2011Engineer Marko Pakanen has started work at HSK Sähkö Oy's Oulu unit. Pakanen will act as the supervisor for road lighting, pumping station maintenance and network building.
Kati Siponen, Bachelor of Business Administration, has begun her work as Financial Secretary in the Kalajoki unit.
Information about new contracts and contracts underway
2 October 2011The Town of Pieksämäki:
Work on the renovation contract for outdoor lighting started on 19 September 2011.
The construction of Vaskiluoto bridge in Vaasa:
Work on the Vaskiluoto bridge in Vaasa has begun with the dismantling of lighting. The main contractor is Andament Oy.
Lighting renovation in the municipality of Ii:
The replacement of lighting on the road that crosses the dam above the hydroelectric power plant in Ii will begin next week. The contract is included among the Elohopealamppu renovation projects of the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for North Ostrobothnia.
Streetlights in the municipality of Polvijärvi:
In connection with some road improvement work, HSK Sähkö is replacing streetlights in Polvijärvi.
Ylivieskan Kodinkeskus:
Work is underway.
HSK Sähkö Oy has won new contract agreements
17 August 2011NHK-Keskus:
The electrification of a freestall cowhouse for the Pikkarainen farm enterprise in Kestilä and the electrification of Mauri Kuha's cowhouse in Ranua. Implementation in cooperation with NHK-Keskus. NHK-Keskus ordered the work and functions as the main contractor.
Kiinteistö Oy Ylivieskan Kodinkeskus:
Turn-key project for electrical installations, 10,000 m2 of covered space, Ylivieska. The building firm Rakennusliike Nivat & Forss Oy operate as the project's main contractor.
The Town of Pieksämäki:
Renovation contract for outdoor lighting 2011, Pieksämäki. The contract includes four separate targets, which require the replacement of light fittings, posts and their bases.
HSK Sähkö has been chosen as the contractor dealing with construction project management for Vattenfall Verkko Oy's renovation projects
22 June 2011Construction management projects Ojalantanhua, Vanhatie and Eräpolku.
The contract includes the building of distribution substations and cables, as well as ground planning and demolition work. The sites to be renovated are located in the town areas of Kalajoki, Pyhäjoki and Oulainen. Work will begin immediately and will be completed by the end of October.

HSK Sähkö receives a certificate for quality work
6 May 2011Certificate for quality work: HSK Sähkö Oy has been accepted into the Achilles qualification system Sellihca as of 15 April 2011.
Sellihca is a common qualification system and vendor database that was designed to meet the most important procurement needs of the energy companies involved. These energy companies use Sellihca for data acquisition and for choosing suppliers in connection with purchasing products, services and contractors. Companies participating in the Sellihca cooperation include Vattenfall and Fortum, among others.

HSK Sähkö's organisation is growing
6 May 2011Jani Ylipaaso started work in our Oulu unit in April performing electrotechnical tasks, and on 9 May, Timo Hyyryläinen will begin in the same tasks.
At the same time, Hannu Siironen will begin supervisory tasks in our Kalajoki unit. He previously worked for Pohjolan Werkonrakennus Oy.
New service contracts
17 March 2011HSK Sähkö Oy and the City of Iisalmi signed a contract on the replacement of streetlight bulbs and light fittings for 2011–2012 on 9 February 2011.
The contract comprises the replacement of the mercury vapour lamps and light fittings in the Iisalmi city area with more modern technology. Work will begin in the spring of 2011.
A framework agreement has been signed with the Construction Establishment of the Defence Administration on the installation, change and maintenance work of electrical systems and data transfer infrastructure for 2011.
New premises for HSK Sähkö in Oulu
17 March 2011HSK Sähkö's Oulu unit is moving to new premises on Tarjusojantie 21 in Kempele on 1 April.
The new premises have a total of 367 m2 of heated storage and office space. For more information contact the Supervisor in charge, Juho Hosio.
New contracts
17 March 2011Work has begun in Oulainen on the KOy Oulaisten Vuokratalot Hussanranta site for terrace houses. The houses will be ready in the autumn of 2011.
The renovation of the laboratory wing of the Ylivieska Health Centre has been started.
HSK Sähkö Oy has been selected for three consecutive renovation projects at the Ylivieska Health Centre.

25 November 2010- Work on the Camping Hiekkasärkät Oy's campsite bar has begun (due for completion in the spring of 2011).
- Building work on the Ylivieska Vesitalo will begin early next year.
- The new traffic lights on Highway 27 in Ylivieska have been put into operation.

- HSK Sähkö Oy has been contracted to install new traffic lights on Highway 23 in Varkaus. Work in Varkaus will begin this autumn.

5 September 2010- HSK Sähkö Oy has been contracted to perform the electricity work for the Justus shop, which is to be built in Ylivieska.
- The electrical installation work of Premec Oy's extension has begun.
- HSK Sähkö Oy will install the car park lighting in the central area of the Hiekkasärkät sand dunes.
- HSK Sähkö Oy has been chosen to carry out the work on a new cowhouse in Puolanka in cooperation with NHK-Keskus.

New contract agreements
28 May 2010Ylivieska Health Centre, occupational health care. Work has begun. Renovation is due for completion on 30 September 2010.
The repair work on the upper level comprehensive school in Alavieska has started. The work will be finished by 31 July 2011.
Work on the Alavieska school's workshop will begin immediately after the school’s summer holiday has started. The workshop will be completed during the summer.
